Financial Support

The School of Architecture provides limited financial support to approximately 75% of its graduate students.  Financial support typically is continued for three semesters for students in the M.S. Arch degree program, and up to six semesters for students in the M.Arch programs.  All awards are based on academic and professional merit and achievement, and proven creative ability. Information concerning the types and amounts of financial support available each year through the School of Architecture Graduate Program is updated annually.

All graduate program candidates who submit a completed application by February 1 for admission the following fall term are automatically considered for financial assistance.  A separate application is required only of students applying for a Teaching or Research Assistantship.  Download the application form, and include it in the application packet that you send to the School of Architecture.  International students who wish to be considered for a Teaching Assistantship must complete the Internet-based TOEFL with an overall score of 90 and a minimum score of 26 on the Speaking section.

The Graduate College website provides information about other sources of financial aid for graduate students.
