Harris is a partner in the award-winning firm of Lake | Flato Architects, known for its strong emphasis on sustainable design. Harris has established expertise in bringing quality design and sustainable practices together in buildings that respect nature, enhance place and exemplify the craft of construction. His presentation is titled "The Six Principles of Design", and focuses on two of Lake | Flato's recent projects, the World Birding Center in MIssion, Texas and the Government Canyon Visitor's Center (photo at right) outside of San Antonio.
