Edward Allen, FAIA, has been a member of the faculties of Yale University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is the best-selling author of Architectural Detailling, The Architect's Studio Companion, and Fundamentals of Building Construction, currently in its fifth edition. He is also the recipient of the 2005 Topaz Medallion for Excellence in Architectural Education, awarded by the AIA and ACSA. His presentation is titled "Structure, Space and Form".
